The visit begins with a pleasant walk through the vineyards and olive grove, followed by a tour of the cellar. At Tenuta l’Apparita, the focus is on sharing a winemaking philosophy in a simple and engaging way, through passion, real stories (some of them quite funny!), and the joy of spending quality time together.

The experience ends with a tasting of 3 or 5 wines, served in a warm and welcoming setting and paired with the estate’s extra virgin olive oil. Guests will discover the winery’s pure Sangiovese, elegant and structured, with excellent aging potential.

Getting here by car is easy, and we offer a large free parking area. Public transportation is available, but services are limited and not very frequent. If you don’t have a car, feel free to contact us — we’ll be happy to provide the phone number of a trusted private driver (NCC).

Families are welcome — children and even pets (as long as they’re friendly!) can join you. We have plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone to relax and enjoy.

Can’t Miss Wine Tasting!
What an absolutely wonderful experience! This charming little winery, just a half-hour drive from Florence, was one of the highlights of our time in Tuscany. The wine, olive oil, and fresh bread were all incredible, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. Francesca was so warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do.

She was warm, knowledgeable, and engaging, making the entire experience both informative and enjoyable. And if you want to hear the fascinating story of Paolo, a cardiologist turned contractor turned vineyard owner, you’re in for a treat! His journey is as interesting as the winery itself, and learning the history behind it made our visit even more special.

Everything about our experience felt authentic, personal, and memorable. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with Tuscany even more. If you’re visiting Florence, this little gem is absolutely worth the short drive into the countryside. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Kind and professional!
We went for this experience as a couple, on Valentine's Day.
We were amazed by the kindness of the welcome they gave us.
Very good wines tasted in the best of ways.
We did a vertical tasting, but also a horizontal one among the various barrels.
We couldn't have asked for better.

Great experience!
We are very happy to have found tenuta l’Apparita ! A very small and independent wine producer with a special attention to his wine. We loved the Vigna and Cantina visit and of course the tasting itself. Francesca is very knowledgeable about the wine and the process and you can feel she cares a lot about the product and the Chianti territory. She proposed a tasting of the same wine but different vintage and it was really interesting to see how much the wine can change in one year only.
We truly recommend to visit this small producer and to taste his excellent San Giovese wine.
