Here is what's in store for you

At Montefioralle, you will be welcomed directly by a member of the Sieni family to their small, organic estate just below the medieval village of Montefioralle. This is a personal experience, hosted in small groups of usually fewer than 10 people to ensure a relaxed atmosphere.

The tour begins with a walk through the vineyard, weather permitting, followed by a visit to the production area. Here, you'll learn about the family's history and their approach to organic winemaking, following the process from grape to bottle.

The experience concludes with a seated tasting on the estate's panoramic terrace, overlooking the Chianti Classico hills. In case of bad weather, the tasting will be held in the indoor tasting room. You will taste four Montefioralle wines: three reds – a Chianti Classico, a Chianti Classico Riserva, and the IGT 'Monteficalle' Super Tuscan, and a sweet Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.

The wines are served with small appetizers prepared for the pairing, including tomato bruschetta, Tuscan bread with the farm's extra virgin olive oil, polenta crostini with ragù, and small meatballs.

I love Chianti

I went in expecting to drink some good wine while learning of what makes it what is is, and that is exactly what I received. The experience was very personal, as the group for the visit consisted only of my boyfriend and I. This is also a small winery (15000 bottles a year) which makes the experience feel even more unique.
The location is incredible so I would definitely plan some time to explore Montefioralle either before or after the wine tour and tasting.

Wine tasing with a amazing view

We were on our first wine tasting ever and had booked through Winedering to Montefioralle Winery:
The host was very friendly and showed us the process of winemaking, both of Chianti Classico and Vin Santo. We were amazed over the process for making Vin Santo when she showed us the room under the roof with all the drying grapes. The tasting was intresting and well organized with antipasto on a plate and a amazing view over Montefioralle. I recommend a vist and taking part in a winetasting at this vineyard. Must though admit that we knew to little of red wines to fully appreciate the tasting

Sweet, small, family operated local vineyard in the picturesque town of Monteforialle. Small, tasty nibbles and a tasting of 4 wines made for a nice way to spend a hour or so of the afternoon. The tour was short and sweet and there were 8 other visitors present.

Great experience with a great view

My mom, sister and I had a lovely visit at the winery. The tour was informative and gave us a good explanation of the process to produce Chianti Classico.
And then we enjoyed great wine with some yummy snacks.

Love that they have kept their family business going and are so dedicated yo continuing it and trying new methods.
We missed the entrance but easily found it once we called for directions
