Wine tasting between Monferrato and Langhe in Isola d’Asti at Torchio1953

To welcome us will be the owner of the winery, who will guide us to discover this family reality in the heart of the Monferrato Astigiano!

The experience will begin with a walk outside the historic farmhouse, located on top of a hill, with a panoramic view of villages and vineyards. Step by step, the owner will tell us the story of the family starting from the progenitor Nonno Rinaldo, until the recent resumption of winemaking.

Afterwards, we will visit the cellar: we will walk between concrete barrels and barriques, deepening the production and transformation of grapes into wine. This first moment will have lasted about 30 minutes.

And now it's time for wine tasting: depending on the weather conditions, it will take place in the historic dining room of the farmhouse or outside.

Depending on the option selected during the booking phase, 5 glasses or 9 glasses will be served accompanied by a mixed cutting board; it will be possible to communicate your preference for red wines or white wines between Barbera, Nebbiolo, Alta Langa, Chardonnay and Moscato.

The experience will last a total of 1 hour and a half.

The wine tasting with a visit to the vineyards and the cellar offers you an authentic experience in the heart of the Langhe and Monferrato, in Repergo.

You will be welcomed by the owner of the winery, who will guide you to discover the family history by strolling through the vineyards and production environments. You will have the opportunity to learn all the secrets of the winemaking process and to walk between concrete barrels and barriques.

At the end of the visit, you can taste local wines such as Barbera d'Asti DOCG or Monferrato Nebbiolo DOC.  It will be possible to communicate your preference for red wines or white wines between Barbera, Nebbiolo, Alta Langa, Chardonnay and Moscato. 

Everything will be accompanied by a mixed board of cold cuts and cheeses.
