Cantina Turus awaits you in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia's countryside, where winemakers have been dedicated to the ancient art of wine-making for centuries.

The minerality of their land, the winds that flow through this territory, and the emerald waters of the Isonzo River make Cantina Turus' wines truly unique. Simone Turus, the owner, runs the entire production process following the principles of natural winemaking. Together with Simone, you will have the opportunity to walk through the vineyards and learn about his wines and about the principles of natural winemaking. Discover the biodiversity among the vines and learn about historical hints of the area, with a special focus on the battles of WWI.

After the tour, you'll enjoy a tasting of 4 wines accompanied by artisanal breadsticks, Montasio cheese, and fricchetti (typical bites made of grilled cheese and potato).

Wine tasting
A truly very interesting tasting. Simone, the owner, accompanied us on a tour through the vineyards, telling us the story of the wines, but also that of the territory and all the work and commitment that is behind his business.

A very pleasant experience
We had the chance to walk through the vineyards and have a pleasant chat with the owner, Simone, who helped us discover various historical curiosities tied to the territory. We then tasted his excellent organic wines, accompanied by a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses. I recommend this experience to everyone, first and foremost for the friendliness and hospitality of Simone, who made us feel at home.

Recommendation
The owner of the winery is a person who loves living with nature and in a simple way. Also very knowledgeable about the history and geography surrounding his territory. Very hospitable, he had us taste his wines, accompanying everything with fantastic cold cuts and delicious bread that he buys from his trusted baker. We all loved it so much! We absolutely recommend it!

Great natural wines
We spent a couple of hours with Simone, the kind and helpful owner of the Turus winery who produces excellent natural wines with great passion, all accompanied by cured meats, cheeses and breadsticks. A pleasant experience.
