One of the best places where you can taste and discover the local wines of Cinque Terre is probably an ancient wine cellar.
The one where you will be welcomed for this wine tasting is located in the centre of Manarola, near to its little harbour. The cellar has been completely renovated and is now a wine bar, a wonderful place where people meet, drink wine, enjoy good music (sometimes great live Jazz) paired with some delicious bites.
Here you will have a tasting of one Cinque Terre DOC white wine, one red IGT wine produced in Cinque Terre and a tasting of the famous Sciacchetrà, a local sweet wine. The tasting will be paired with some tasty local delicacies, like crostini with pesto and with salted anchovies, cheese and other snacks.
