Your experience begins with a Vineyard and winery visit, including a walk through the vineyards and olive groves, where you will enjoy panoramic views and learn about the unique terroir of this extraordinary area.

The tour continues with an introduction to Uma Casanatura, its philosophy, and its story, followed by an explanation of the winemaking process and the choices behind each wine.

The experience concludes with a guided tasting of 4 wines, including selections from both the Linea Tradizione and the Linea Superiore, such as:

- Abruzzo Pecorino DOC

- Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC

- SIlla IGT magic blend Montepulciano and Cabernet 

- Nunam IGT, amphora aged pecorino DOC

- Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC

- Montepulciano Colline Teramane DOCG  (Mundus Vini Gold Medal)

The tasting is accompanied by a rich selection of local cold cuts, cheeses, and bread, as well as a taste of UMA’s extra virgin olive oil, offering a complete gastronomic experience.

Depending on your preference, the tasting takes place on the panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards or directly among the vines in a picnic-style setting, creating a relaxed and immersive atmosphere.

Good wine but...
I arrive at the vineyard with high expectations: a fast and rushed cellar tour, not technical at all, vineyard walk missing in action. We start off on the wrong foot right away, because I had practically booked just for that (and the price wasn't exactly cheap). Excellent wines, a good tasting journey, shame about the haste shown by the owner: it almost felt like he wanted to pour the new wine into the glass with the old one. Another note for me that is far from minor: the use of the same glass for all the juices, not even rinsed between one type and another. The tasting/aperitif took place in the indoor room, neither in the vineyard nor on the terrace (where, despite the heat, I had expressed the desire to be), at the only table then rushed to be freed for a second booking at 6 PM (the table was in fact set for a few too many people...). Again, almost misleading advertising: experience duration, on the platform, of 3.5H with the need to book the aperitif by 5 PM; in fact, within two hours we could have easily finished, and the last bookings for the aperitif, from what we saw, arrived at least until 6 PM. To summarize, a good quality of wines and a breathtaking view. But since the proposed package is effectively an aperitif, drastically lower the price. Experience failed.

Highly recommended!
There were two of us and we booked a walk with a tasting for Sunday morning. We were welcomed by Alberto, a kind and very knowledgeable person, who accompanied us through the vineyards and in the cellar, passionately illustrating the entire production process, from the field to the bottle, carefully answering all our questions.

The tasting took place on the ground floor of the building, in a truly evocative setting: in front of us the hills, with the sea on the left and the snow-capped mountains on the right. Everything was accompanied by an aperitivo with focaccia, cured meats, local cheeses and their own oil, enriched by Mr. Alberto's travel stories.

The wines are excellent, refined and of great quality. A truly pleasant experience: we will definitely be back!

A wonderful moment
We were a group of girls for a bachelorette party and we were very impressed by the beauty of the place and the quality of the things offered. The owner hadn't read that the bride-to-be was celiac but he handled this issue very well. Overall, would do it again
The only thing I would perhaps improve is the walk beforehand, which could be longer or visit more things.

An immersion in relaxation
We arrived at the Uma Casanatura winery by chance: we had an afternoon and little time, and the winery is an hour's drive from our home. Alberto welcomed us with great professionalism but at the same time made us feel right at home. He showed us the cellar, the grounds, the various types of grapes... We tasted the wines with his explanations, very detailed but also very simple for those who, like us, are "ignorant" wine lovers. He prepared an aperitivo for us with local products (cured meats and cheeses), and bread and oil from the estate. Everything was delicious! We will come back with friends to have a nice aperitivo!
