There is some gold underneath our vineyards, in Marzaghe’s land. A golden lamb, hidden by the Longobards, great merchants and flocks breeders. This is what an oral tradition tells. A lot of people searched this golden lamb, at least until the 40’s. Nowadays, only our vineyard roots look for it, finding their ways through the fresh earth. They might even have already found it! They look after and protect this golden lamb to let it be the grape’s “golden reserve” with which our winery produces our Marzaghe Franciacorta wine.
