Davide Vignato Az. Agr.
(Winery in Gambellara)

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €25.00
Davide Vignato's winery, located in the volcanic hills of Gambellara, has deep roots in a century-old passion for winemaking. It all began with Davide’s grandfather, Rinaldo, a pioneer who cultivated the first small plot of land in Brovia. His father, Gian Domenico, took the family’s dedication further by starting to vinify their own grapes, producing wines that reflected the authenticity and tradition of the past. Davide, the third generation, grew up immersed in the rhythms of the vineyard, and in 1997, he decided to embark on a new path, embracing organic viticulture. With a deep respect for the land, Davide focused on reducing yields and encouraging the vines to take root in the nutrient-rich volcanic soil. His vision has transformed the family estate into a modern winery that remains connected to its heritage. Today, the winery, housed in a renovated cowshed from his grandfather’s time, stands as a testament to the family’s enduring love for the land and the traditions of Gambellara.

The numerous accolades obtained over the last few decades are rewards for the validity of this corporate philosophy. The Zonin family’s Estates cover a total of over 4000 hectares of land, of which around 2000 are planted with vines. A further 500 hectares, of which 90 are under vine, are to be found in the United States, at Barboursville Vineyards in Virginia. The estates are located in Italy’s seven finest wine-producing Regions: the Veneto, Friuli, Piedmont, Lombardy, Tuscany, Sicily and Puglia.
