5 A pleasant journey through Italian wines in the heart of Milan (Carolina)I participated in a tasting at Cantina Urbana and the experience was truly pleasant. The tasting included four glasses of wine accompanied by a rich platter, very good and well-assorted. I particularly liked the journey through the different wines, with clear and interesting explanations that allowed us to better discover the main Italian wine-growing regions. It was an excellent introduction to the world of Italian wine, suitable for both beginners and for those who already have some knowledge. A special thanks to the staff, always attentive, helpful, and very kind, who helped create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Recommended for those who want to spend a different kind of evening and discover something more about Italian wines!

4 The only wines of Milan (Max)For this reason alone a trip to the hill of San Colombiano, at the gates of Milan, but deep in the Pavia area, would make sense. A referendum intelligently decided to remain under Milan and not to pass to Pavia. With all the wines of the Oltrepò... So the Riccardis, but also the other (few) producers on the hill, found themselves with a hen with golden eggs in their hands (oops!) ... the vineyards. So here is the Dom, a spumante, the reserves named after the fencing champion Enrico Riccardi, and the easy-drinking red wines San Rocco and Roverone above all. But also the Verdea, the native white grape, still, sparkling, and passito. In short, a wide collection of wines and blends made with good judgment and not too expensive. What more could you want. The place is beautiful, the view too, the courtesy as well.
