5 Intimate Winery Tour and Excellent Wines (James)We had the pleasure of visiting Palazzo Lodron for a tour and tasting on 23, July, 2024. We were warmly greeted in the Palazzo courtyard by Olivia, who owns the winery with her husband. After a brief tour of the vineyard, which included stunning views of the countryside from atop an old stone tower, we entered the winery and house. This is a very small winery, but the quality is very high. The old house features 2 sub-levels of "caves" for cellaring. The history of these old rooms was explained by Olivia and it is very interesting. Olivia also graciously showed us some of the rooms of the house, in which she and her family live. The house has great historical significance in the area, having been occupied in former times by very prominent and important regional administrators. There is even a chapel in the house, complete with alter and painted copper panels in the ceiling. Extremely interesting and unique. We then tasted the wines and each were delicious! A rose, a cabernet franc and a cabernet sauvignon. The rose was on the darker side in both color and flavor and was excellent. The cabernet franc was bursting with fruit on the nose and on the palate and the cabernet sauvignon was lush and full on the palate with dark berry flavors yet very smooth and balanced. It is no wonder these wines have won accolades (96 points from Decanter for the cabernet sauvignon) in just a few short years of production. We loved our experience at Palazzo Lodron and the time w

5 Delicious Wine Tasting During Harvest Time (Ina)We had an incredibly great wine tour with tasting. The owner personally guided us around and told us everything worth knowing about her wines and the estate. The wines were very delicious and the cheese platter also had a lot to offer. To our great surprise, the harvest was just beginning, allowing us to taste ripe, very delicious grapes and freshly pressed grape juice. We are thrilled with this tour and can warmly recommend it.

5 Research and history (Maria Sofia)The experience begins with a tour of the vineyard and the palace. We were immediately struck by the search for quality in the wine production, the family management, and the hospitality. The tasting includes 3 of their wines with some local cheeses. We also tried the homemade grape jam, truly delicious! The owners and the dog, very friendly, made us feel welcome in their palace.

5 A beautiful experience in history (Simone)A truly pleasant and refined experience. Visiting the inside of a historic palace like Palazzo Lodron adds charm and atmosphere to the tasting: well-kept, welcoming rooms steeped in history. The proposed wine selection was interesting and very pleasant and the explanations from the owner were knowledgeable and never boring. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the Rizzoi but "Divertimento n° 10" is also noteworthy. An experience I highly recommend to those who love wine combined with a historical setting.

5 Excellent experience (Paolo)We were warmly welcomed by the wife of the villa's owner, Mrs. Lodron. She took us to visit the vineyards, she explained step by step all the stages of winemaking. We visited the production and aging area, the cellars and the villa. She explained the family history in detail and showed us around the villa, stunning. Finally, a tasting of excellent cheeses, bread, wine of their own production and fruit, bunches of grapes and figs. A beautiful experience. Thank you so much, Frau Lodron.
