azienda agricola ceramida
(Winery in Reggio Calabria)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €25.00
We are a young company born from the passion of two brothers for agriculture and viticulture. We started in 2003 with the recovery of abandoned terraces in Granaro di Ceramida, a small hamlet of Bagnara Calabra (RC) overlooking the splendid Costa Viola. We have started a project for the production of wines from native vines: Zibibbo and Calabrese Nero in particular. Recently we have experimented with some international varieties: Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition to our children, family members, and many childhood friends who have become involved in the project, they too are in love with this land.
The vinification cellar is located in a small room in the old village of Ceramida, where the equipment for vinification has been placed, which is done with traditional and artisanal techniques.
We do not use barrels or barriques for aging, but everything is done in steel vats.
Tenuta Dioscuri
(Winery in Reggio Calabria)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €7.00
The history of Tenuta Dioscuri dates back to the early 1800s when the land was owned by Mr. Nicita Michele, who passed it on to his son Francesco. Francesco cultivated ancient Greco di Bianco grapes, producing a fortified wine known for its intense aroma, warm, sweet flavor, and harmonious aftertaste. This tradition was refined by his grandson, Flavio Latella, who expanded and modernized the winery, transforming it into a successful national and international brand.
Azienda Agricola Cosimo Murace
(Winery in Reggio Calabria)
Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €25.00
Azienda Agricola Cosimo Murace has been a family-run business since 1998, founded and managed by Cosimo Murace, who is both a winemaker and enologist. A passionate individual dedicated to his work, nature, and people, Cosimo adopted organic farming methods from the very beginning, achieving organic certification with the very first vintage. In 1996, he also obtained the Bivongi DOC appellation. His journey in the wine industry began at the age of 18, working for a wine company for nearly 10 years before establishing his own brand. The company is now based in Bivongi, a charming village located just 20 km from the Ionian coast of Calabria, with a small vineyard of 3 hectares nestled in the surrounding hills.
Since 2020, Cosimo’s daughter, Valentina, has joined the business, bringing a fresh perspective by redesigning the labels, updating the website and social media presence, and introducing new experiences such as wine tastings at the winery and the "Tour in Vigna" experience (a guided vineyard tour followed by a wine tasting), giving greater visibility to her father's work.
MALASPINA
(Winery in Reggio Calabria)
Provides 2 wine tastings and winery visit from €25.00
The company was established in 1967. Since then, it has been producing wines by leveraging the resources of a proud, untamed, and deeply dedicated land. It belongs to the Malaspina family, where each member contributes differently to the production process. Consolato, the founder and cornerstone; Franca, his wife and the central figure of the staff/family; and their four daughters, Domenica, Caterina, Irene, and Patrizia, who are involved in management, administration, production, and promotion.
The winery, where the grapes are received and processed and where the resulting wines undergo maturation and refinement, is located in Melito di Porto Salvo, a municipality in the province of Reggio Calabria, situated by the sea.
The company produces grapes on a 9-hectare area, including owned and leased land, and olive oil from a 3-hectare olive grove. Here, a meticulous harvesting and careful pressing of Carolea and Nocella olives give rise to an exceptionally high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The vineyards are situated in the town of Palizzi, in the Dareri district, at an elevation of about 500 meters, where Nocera and Calabrese Nero vines are cultivated using the alberello method. They are also located in the municipality of Melito di Porto Salvo, where Gaglioppo and Magliocco vines are grown using the spalliera (trellis) method. These vineyards share a hilly position and a marvelous exposure. Each of them offers a different view of the Ionian Sea. These places are enchanting, and walking among the rows, you get the sensation that time has stood still. No noise from the so-called "civilized" modern world penetrates here, and the surrounding landscape is both beautiful and wild.
Azienda Agricola Baccellieri
(Winery in Reggio Calabria)
We produce citrus fruits, bergamot oranges and olive oil, but our crown jewel is the production of the raisin wine (or passito) known as Vino Greco.
Producing this peculiar raising wine requires commitment and our current owner, Mariolina Baccellieri, willingly went all.in on the hard task of bringing the Greco wine –and its vineyard- back to its old glory, like it used to be in the mid 1980’s thanks to C.A.C.I.B., a farmers’ cooperative her father Vincenzo was part of. Mariolina clearly inherited her passion for this grape from him.
The purpose of our Company is –as it always was and always will be- producing an actual wine-from-the-vineyard as per the millennial tradition that characterizes the Greco raising wine.
Ever since, this path we choose has been so rewarding we now know we are doing it right, a certainty that motivates us in persevering and pursue our vision.

Feudo Gagliardi
(Winery in Reggio Calabria)
The Feudo Gagliardi winery owned by the Vozzo family, founded in the early 1970s, is located in the province of Reggio Calabria in the Locride area, immersed in the gentle hills between Roccella Jonica and Caulonia, in the middle of what was once the cradle of the ancient Greek civilization, lands of the Enotri population, where wine is archeology and culture. Numerous finds of ancient millstones carved into the rock testify to the vocation of this territory for the cultivation of vines. In this strip of land kissed by the sun, viticulture for the Vozzo family represents an authentic tradition, expertise and passion handed down for three generations.
The viticultural heritage of the company consists of 6 hectares where the most important native Calabrian vines grow, acclimatized for thousands of years and which allow to obtain wines of great depth and personality (Calabrese, Gaglioppo, Greco nero and Magliocco) among the reds, (Montonico, Greco bianco, Malvasia and Insolia) among the whites, from which 4 types of IGP “Locride” wine are produced: 1 barricaded red, 1 young red, 1 white and 1 rosé (see technical data sheets).
In the last decade a lot has been focused on the wine sector, with the restructuring of old vineyards, the planting of new ones and with the construction of a modern cellar that allows the company to implement the short supply chain, from production to vinification, to aging at bottling. Particular attention has always been paid to environmental sustainability (the company has been organic since 1998) and finally from the 2020 harvest the wines are also certified organic.
