5 Welcomed as friends (Jennifer)Our time with Rodolfo, Francesco, Albino, Vincenzo, and Nuncia was one of the most cherished parts of our time in Calabria. Our family of 8 was welcomed as friends — they even made special amends for our Nona who was carried up the hill on her walker by all 4 men! The educational tour of the vineyard, the thoughtfully prepared meal by Nuncia (even an entirely gluten free plate for me), the unpretentious wine-tasting. It was the best slice of Calabria we could have hoped for. And I didn’t even mention the view yet: glorious and quiet along the Costa Viola! It is clear that Rodolfo loves and respects the land and heritage he cultivates at Ceramida. It’s not just about the wine but about the whole healthy ecosystem, as well as preserving the ancient stone walls that support the entire hillside. An evening with Rodolfo and his friends will set you at ease and give you the best insight into the unhurried and hospitable culture of Calabria. I’m so grateful we experienced it. Thank you, all! 5 Best experience in Italy (Sofia)I want to highly recommend the Ceramida winery to anyone interested. You feel cared for from start to finish. It is hard to put in text how much me and my friend enjoyed it there. The owner was so attentive, the food was delicious and a lot…! We booked a version with transfer and were extremely happy and impressed. The sunset winery tour at ceramida is definitely worth your time and money.

One of our guests has celiac disease, and the team went above and beyond to provide safe, thoughtful, and equally delicious gluten-free accommodations. 5 Nice and authenthic wine excursion and tastery (Rosa)We joined this excursion with our family of four and absolutely loved it. The visit to the monastery, the Jeep tour through the vineyards, and the wine tasting complemented each other perfectly, creating a unique, diverse, and thoroughly enjoyable experience. 5 Wonderful insight into winemaking (Paul)A lovely afternoon spent with the Murace family. Bivongi a quaint village in the Calabrian mountains made a picturesque setting for an insightful venture into local history and wine production. A visit to a local monastery on the way to the vineyards was a bonus. We spent time at the vineyard learning about the grapes and the process used to produce the wines., the views of the valley and surrounding countryside not to mention the jeep ride there were breathtaking. Back at hq in Bivongi we were treated to 3 wines all of which were excellent and a wonderful platter of Calabrian cheese , meats and vegetables which complemented the wine rather well. The owner of the vineyard Cosimo and his daughter Valentina were attentive throughout the tour and answered all our questions., in all splendid hosts. We wholeheartedly recommend you see for yourself this amazing insight into local wine production,history and current day life in and around Bivongi and Calabria on a whole. 10 out of 10 Cosimo.and Valentina Paul and Gill

5 Excellent Experience (Amanda)This experience is set on a beautiful hillside with spectacular views. The tour is a fascinating account of the local history of the area and the vineyard. That is followed by a tasting and local food pairing, with good wines and very tasty food. The experience is concluded with a final tasting and dessert pairing at a beautiful scenic overlook. The staff is very nice and super helpful! It is an experience totally worth the money.

It was the only winery in this area organizing the wine tasting in the first half of October, so we were unsure what experience we will get. Hosts provided us with all necessary information for our visit, everything was thought of. Interesting excursion, beautiful sights, amazing sunset, excellent wine and tasty snacks from local products. It was like meeting with old friends, And everything together created unforgettable experience. If we will be in this part of Calabria again we definitely will visit this winery again.

5 Brilliant day (Kimberley)Flávio and Maria were great hosts on this wine tasting experience. The food they served and the wine was delicious. We were given a brief tour of the distillery which was very interesting. We would definitely recommend a visit to this vineyard. We went by taxi from Reggio which took a round 90 minutes. The experience lasted around 2 hours and I would recommend booking the platinum tour.

5 Amaizing experince!!! (Nataly)It was in deed amaizing experince!! Organisation, communication and accurace on a high level. First off all the viniard is on the stunning location overlooking the bay, from where you can see the Sicily. Few different sort of grapes are cultivated here and some that we never heard of like Zizibo. Left the good impretion on me personaly. After the tour of viniards (with a translator in english following us) we started vine tasting accompaind with local traditional food. Everything was supper tasty and the vine is absolutely outstanding. The interesting part is that everything is done by hand in the viniard.. For example Zizibo desert wine (they make 2 different wines from this grape) it takes 2 years of “production” before u can buy it. Its veru special. And the most special part of this beautiful experince where the people who made it happen. The warmth, spontaniancy, knowledge and hospitality is amaizing. We felt like at home! This beautiful tour is finished with stunning sunset and of course purchasing some bottles of wine to cary us true:) Big thanks to Rodolfo and his companions who made this day memorable.

5 Spectacular!! (Kayla)This was truly the best wine tasting we have ever experienced! The owners of the vineyard were the kindest people - they treated us like family. The tour was like no other - they showed us not just the wine but also the history of the land. They also allowed us to taste some of the fruits that were growing on the land. 5 Wonderful Friday evening in Ceramida (Thomas)My family of 7 visited with Rodolfo, Albino, and Vincenzo at the vineyard on a lovely Friday evening. Rodolfo showed us around the incredible property, which has breathtaking views of the sea atop the cliffs in Ceramida. We saw each of the lots of plantings that they have on site, and then gathered at a table amongst the vines. We tasted some traditional Italian meats, breads, and cheeses while trying 4 wonderful wines that they produce. The entire experience fulfilled everything we were looking for and more. The entire team was extremely kind and welcoming to us, we would not hesitate to come back and visit again. We highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

5 By Chance in the Midst of Beauty (Rocco)We found ourselves at this winery almost by chance even though we knew one of the labels they produce. The tour is pleasant, genuine and the view of the terraced vineyards is truly one of a kind. We nicknamed the grape variety "sea view" and let's just say that the marine influence is really good for these grapes which produce a wine that is good and pleasant on the palate. As for the tasting, local products of the highest quality and lots and lots of hospitality and professionalism. We will come back with some friends, absolutely recommended!
