Cantina Rossi Daniele, nestled in the picturesque village of Torgiano along the Cantico wine route, began as a farmhouse with a cellar open to visitors. The winery's vineyards span 4 hectares, facing southwest, with a Guyot training system on clayey and sandy soils. These vineyards cultivate a variety of grapes, including Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Grechetto di Todi, and Trebbiano Spoletino. Although family-run, the heart and soul of the winery is Rossi Daniele, a self-described "passionate winemaker" who personally signs each bottle with a logo of his initials, D and R, forming the image of a barrel on the label. In addition to its winemaking, the estate offers a charming agriturismo experience at Casale Villa Chiara Torgiano, just a few kilometers from Umbrian tourist destinations like Perugia and Assisi. The restored farmhouse has been transformed into a welcoming country residence, featuring a garden, vineyard, olive grove, and swimming pool. Guests can enjoy the well-maintained outdoor spaces, including a large garden with a swimming pool and a panoramic terrace with stunning views of Assisi. The vineyard and olive grove on the property produce high-quality Umbrian wine and olive oil, adding to the rich experience of staying at this beautiful estate.

Founded in the early 60’s by Giorgio Lungarotti, the company soon became a driving force that opened up new opportunities not only for Torgiano but for the whole Umbria: wine as the centerpiece of a very high quality touristic and productive center, and cornerstone of a highly integrated promotional tool for the whole region. Always at the forefront of environmental awareness, Lungarotti has been practicing sustainable viticulture for many years. Our choices aim to obtain the best possible grape quality while respecting the vine, biodiversity of the soil and of the vineyard environment. To this end, we have undertaken various projects both in the vineyards and the cellars.
