ALSACE FREY-SOHLER

Today, the estate is proudly run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Sohler family, Damien Sohler and his daughter, Aude, who continue the family’s winemaking tradition with passion and commitment.

Two different "Terroirs" for Alsace Frey-Sohler:

- "Graves" soil, which gives very fruity and fine wines

- Granit Soil called "Rittersberg" with mineral wines, and very long-keeping wines.

You can find different parcels of this estate on the Orientation Table with the European flag, and on the wine road where they produce their famous Cremant Riesling!

These two types of soil are very filtering and never experience excess water.

- Una prima parola sui Cremants: un'ampia selezione di Cremants d'Alsace con: Cremant Blanc de Blancs, Riesling (specialità), Riesling Old Vintage, Cremant Rose, Cremant Emotion e Blanc de Noirs. Questa volta, 4 di questi Cremant hanno ottenuto una medaglia d'oro o d'argento.

- Scherwiller (denominazione di villaggio con vitigno obbligatorio 100% Riesling): un Riesling molto famoso, molto diverso da tutti i Riesling che si possono trovare sulla strada del vino: un delizioso naso di moscato, un palato agrumato e una bocca asciutta sono l'identità del vino. Questa volta ha ottenuto una medaglia d'oro al Mondial of the white wines di Strasburgo 2025.

- Brise d'Ete®: un vino delizioso, fruttato, secco e dissetante per questo speciale rosato estivo.

- Fleur de Granit: un grande vino Pinot Nero rosso, proveniente dal meraviglioso terreno granitico del Rittersberg. Affinato in botti di legno, questo vino dimostra che in Alsazia sappiamo fare grandi vini rossi.

- Riesling Rittersberg: il gigante della tenuta: Un bellissimo colore oro, un naso fine con una bella mineralità, liquirizia, fiori bianchi, con una percezione molto lunga. Un grande vino che si affina magnificamente!

- Grand Cru Frankstein: Questo Gewurztraminer esalta una meravigliosa fragranza di rose, fiori e frutti esotici. È un vino ampio al palato, con un bellissimo e fine equilibrio e molto lungo in bocca.
