Intimate family run winery

4/1/24
Our tour was led by both husband and wife and between them have so my much knowledge about their wine, the region, etc. so we learned a lot. The winery is small. The wine was very good and we could choose our varieties. The accompanying cheese and meat plate was excellent quality-all locally sourced. Overall an enjoyable and personable time with Camila and Emilio. .
There is no sign to their winery off the road (unless we missed it) so I would suggest a sign on the main road..

Great experience

A great experience in a very familiar environment. We received Emilio and showed us the winery with great kindness. Beautiful landscape .We explained the processing process of our products. Afterwards we can taste various items, all of a great quality together with a generous table of products from the area. We also taste the honey and the vinegar of our own things.
Thank you

About Winery and Wines

The farm ATRIVM is in the municipal district of San Giovanni d’Asso, adjoining withBrunello’sterritory, in the district of Montalcino. The farm’s building arise from the ruins of a Medieval waystation, that has always been devoted to wine growing and wine production. The farm has a territory of 100.000 m², which 30.000 dedicated to DOC Orcia vineyardgrowingand 20.000 to olive growing. This space is also dotted with colorful beehives, for bee growing. In the Sixties the farm was between the first wineries to test for the vineyard the use of rowstogrowing grapevines, thanks to grandfather Argante’s ability to put together the centennial localtradition and the innovative vine growing theories. Another Argante’s credit was to passed down his passion for the country to his sons andgrandsons, above all Emilio, the current manager: after graduating, at an end of an educationbasedonoenology, agronomy, zootechnics, biology and chemistry, he decided to apply his theoreticalknowledge to managed the farm and to succeeded, like his grandpa, improvingit withoutundermining products’ quality.

The farm produces DOC Orcia red wine, IGT Toscana Asso red wine, IGT Toscana red table wine,IGT Toscana white table wine, IGT Toscana Rosatrivm rosé wine, Vinsanto, Grappa, Bulles sparkling rosé wine, Extra virgin Olive Oil, Honey.
