The existence of the ZEYSSOLFF family in Alsace dates back to the fifteenth century.

In 1778, Jean-Daniel ZEYSSOLFF founded Maison ZEYSSOLFF in Gertwiller, at the heart of the Alsatian vineyards. Since then, the traditions of the vine and winemaking have been passed down from father to son for eleven generations—a continuity as remarkable as the quality of the Alsace wines offered.

1997 – Yvan ZEYSSOLFF took over the family business.

Today, Yvan and Céline have been working fully in organic farming since 2018. Their vineyards are spread across terroirs of fascinating geological variety, allowing Maison ZEYSSOLFF to produce a wide range of wines, each with its own unique character.

The birth of wine begins in the vineyard, respecting nature. To do so, various basic principles are put in place by La Maison ZEYSSOLFF:

* Judicious choice of grape varietals in accordance with the area and quality of the soil.

* Deliberate limitation of yields

* Conversion to organic viticulture

* Manual grape harvests

Passionate about travelling and architecture, we have visited many family-owned wine cellars, some of them showing exceptional originality. All have a common aim: to democratise one of the most beautiful parts of French heritage – wine.

We no longer want to use our winery solely as a work tool, but also as a place of exchange, where the story of wine is told through a familial and regional history.

We are privileged guardians of a rich history and heritage. To this day, we have created a place of sharing, where those passionate about wine or those less so, leave feeling enriched. We want to bring not only a cultural but also an emotional wealth to our visitors.

Au Péché Vigneron was established in 2005. In addition to selling our wines, we wanted to create a “concept store” where one can not only buy wine but also share moments with family and friends.

A wide selection of fine groceries and local products supplements our range of wines, with which we can create gourmet baskets, a house specialty.

La Maison ZEYSSOLFF offers a wide selection of wines. Since 2018, we have converted to organic viticulture and produce the whole range of Alsatian grape varietals, including the Klévener of Heiligenstein.  AOC CRÉMANT D’ALSACE – AOC ALSACE – MACERATION WINES – GRAND CRU ZOTZENBERG  – LIEU DIT RITTERSBERG –  LATE HARVEST REFERENCE OR SÉLECTIONS DE GRAINS NOBLES.
