Assirelli Vini "Cantina da Vittorio"
About the Winery
Founded in 1970 by Assirelli Aldo, the winery began as a humble endeavor to vinify the first harvests from a few hilly hectares of vineyards located near the artistic village of Dozza. Driven by passion and a deep connection to the land, Aldo laid the foundations for what would become a family legacy.
The next chapter was shaped by his son, Vittorio, who undertook a significant transformation of the winery. He modernized the production facilities, creating a space fully dedicated to the complete processing of grapes and the sale of wine in demijohns. Committed to sustainability, Vittorio implemented integrated pest management techniques to preserve and protect the health of the vines.
Today, Vittorio continues the journey alongside his wife Anna and their sons, Matteo and Luca. With the expert guidance of oenologist Dr. Marco Lucchi, the family produces a wide range of bottled wines, vinifying both native and international grape varieties from 16 hectares of estate vineyards.
The winery remains at the forefront of innovation, recently upgrading its cellar with state-of-the-art equipment that ensures each stage of the winemaking process is carried out with precision and care. The result is a portfolio of exceptional DOCG, DOC, and IGT wines, crafted to the highest standards of quality.
Visitors are welcomed into a charming tasting room, complete with a fireplace and vintage furnishings, where they can enjoy direct sales, guided tours, and tastings that offer a true taste of local tradition.
Over the years, Assirelli Winery has earned numerous accolades, recognized for its enduring quality and contribution to the cultural and gastronomic heritage of Dozza.
About the Wines
Matteo carefully preserves traditional winemaking techniques while also exploring innovative production methods. His goal is to craft a dynamic and distinctive line of wines—never ordinary—characterized by low sulfur content and minimal chemical intervention. This is made possible thanks to the modern technologies available in the winery, which support a more natural and respectful approach to winemaking.

Visit to Cantina Assirelli
We were immediately welcomed warmly and accompanied on a tour of the vineyards and the cellar with great professionalism and engagement.
The love for this Winery shines through in the Sommelier who was our guide.
We then concluded with a tasting of 7 different types of wine accompanied by cold cuts, cheeses and piadina.
Everything was excellent!!!!
It was a fantastic visit!!!
Assirelli Tasting
Interesting in its content (in the vineyard, in the cellar) and the tasting next to the fireplace was very satisfying.
Interesting wines and an excellent snack.
We'll have to go back.
Wonderful experience
Wine tasting at its finest
You shouldn't eat or drink beforehand, because there is more than plenty of it in super quality and with exciting explanations from people who love their job!
A wonderful place
Amazing
Then our table was full of cheese and ham from the region, very generous in quantity. We taste 8 wines with Sante that explained everything, respond to your question with kind and generous smile. He is very professional, here for you at any time. At the end you have the possibility to buy the bottle. We take 8 bottles in total. We are use to French wine, but this is something else. You reconsider to eat cheese or meat/ham with a completely different type of wine after this degustation. It was amazing. Thank you very much and also thank you for the ride.
Do not miss this experience!
