5 Exceptionel wine knowledge (Sander Paulsen)This is the place to go if you like to taste great wine and learn a lot about how it is made. Augusto is really passionate about his art, which made the experience even better. The food and wine tasted great, me and my friend ended up buying 11 bottles. We were most suprised about how amazing the white wines tasted, we are both bigger fans of red, but ended up falling in love with some of the White ones. This is a must try!

5 Excellent Afternoon (Sam)Myself and my five friends all had a fantastic afternoon with the wonderful Augusto. Following our tour of the grounds, we enjoyed an incredible 5 course meal, with Augusto walking us through in detail the accompanying wine with the food. I was initially hesitant at first of this tour as hadn’t had the best experience with Organic Wines, however Cantina Zuffa has proved me entirely wrong and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit Augusto and the vineyard again.

5 Cantine Zuffa - fantastic hospitality, fantastic wines (Thore)Augusto was a fantastic host first showing us around the estate and explaining their unique wine making process in detail which was really interesting. We were then treated to a top quality food and wine pairing experience. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. One of the best wine tours I have been on - and I have been on many ;) grazie mille Augusto!

5 Winery tour (Linda)I just have to say that this was by far the best experience ever! Our host, Augusto, also the owner of Cantine Zuffa, is so very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft! He taught us so much about the wine making process starting with even details about the soil needed to grow the different types of grapes. We definitely felt like family as we gathered for at least 12 different wine tastings in between the most delicious four course lunch and the magnificent dessert! I guarantee you will not find a better way to spend an afternoon or evening! We were able to take advantage of Augusto’s offer to ship our favorite wines directly to our home! I wish Augusto our heartfelt thanks for such wonderful afternoon! If I ever have the privilege of returning to Italy I will definitely visit Cantine Zuffa again!

5 Wonderful experience (Chiara)We had a beautiful afternoon and even though we were the only ones not speaking Italian, Sante took very good care of us and made sure to answer all of our questions. Very nice and familiar atmosphere. The food and the wine was fantastic.

He was very proud & informative regarding his vineyard and the wine making processes before a lovely afternoon lunch in the garden! Beautiful four course lunch with 9 wines to try and enjoy. Just delightful! We had the chance to purchase some wine and have shipped to the UK which we happily have done! Overall a lovely days visit! We got the bus from Bologna which took an hour and was very easy with a short walk to get to Cantine Zuffa.

5 Best experience in our trip (Bruce)We had a simply delightful afternoon visiting the winery. Multi-course Meals were served to us graciously while we relaxed under the trees in the garden. We tried 16 different wines, nearly all of which were excellent. It was a perfect afternoon, and hosted wonderfully by the owner who clearly loved what he and his family were doing

5 Sips to savour (Heather)The winery owner gave us a tour and then hosted the lunch. We were the only ones there for the first hour and half. It was lovely, our table was set up over a canopy and there was a lovely breeze. He was very informative and my husband and I learned a great deal about making organic wine. The food was excellent as was the many wines we tasted. Wonderful afternoon- we definitely would recommend this to others.

5 Amazing (Mathilde)We share an incredible moment with the sommelier Sante. He made a tour of the different wine yard with a lot of explanations about it + tour in the the beautiful cave. The landscape is very beautiful. Then our table was full of cheese and ham from the region, very generous in quantity. We taste 8 wines with Sante that explained everything, respond to your question with kind and generous smile. He is very professional, here for you at any time. At the end you have the possibility to buy the bottle. We take 8 bottles in total. We are use to French wine, but this is something else. You reconsider to eat cheese or meat/ham with a completely different type of wine after this degustation. It was amazing. Thank you very much and also thank you for the ride.

5 Do not miss this experience! (George)Can’t recommend this enough. Santi was the best host, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable… he even dropped us off at Imola station after the event, which he didn’t need to do! As for the tasting, we had 9 glasses of cracking wine and a huge amount of delicious food. This would be a great thing to do even if the location was bad… but the location was beautiful! Make sure you book onto this tasting.

5 Beautiful organic wines (Callum)We visited the winery on a Friday and took the 101 bus from Bologna. Augusto was really helpful with directions etc and picked us up from the bus stop. We had a very knowledgeable tour of the winery and the manufacturing process from Augusto and it’s clear he is a very skilled artist / scientist! Following that the selections of organic wines to taste with lunch were B-road which is great if you’re looking to try wines you havnt had before. The selection of cured meats offered as an appetiser were delicious and were better than some of the high end meats we had purchased in Bologna! All in all a great experience with a great host.

5 Great experience! (F)Augusto gave us a fascinating and really enjoyable tour of his family’s winery. His warmth and passion for what he does shone through and he was always ready to answer any questions we threw at him. The lunch was very good (and hearty!) and wine pairings and tasting were great to experience. We loved that the pace was relaxed and not rushed. We weren’t sure what to expect when we signed up to this tour but it was in the end one of the highlights of our four-day stay in Bologna.

5 Honeymoon delight (Page)My husband and I had a spectacular trip to Assirelli vineyard and cantina! We did a tour of the vineyard + a wine tasting by the fireplace. During our trip to Italy, we did over 7 wine tastings and this was BY FAR the most special. Sante, the house sommelier, was so kind and knew so much about their unique grapes, He was so sweet with a great sense of humor. But what made it truly memorable was the level of attention we got from the entire staff. They brought us special cheese and bread parings with each wine, and even cooked us local panchetta and sausage by the fire!!! You could really feel the family touch all around. 10/10 reccomend this tour - it was DIVINE! Thanks again Assirelli family!!!

5 Just Another Day (Clive)Augusto - he's an angel. We arrived on foot following a 1 hour bus journey out of Central Bologna, for our 4 person (English), 3 hour "experience". A keen giver of knowledge on the process of growing and the patented technology involved in the production of the raw grape juice product. Onwards with Augusto, past the huge vats, the timber barrels and into the temperature controlled store. Each stage clearly explained and our many questions answered. Onwards to the Cantina. Inside this building, a huge room, and a single round table, laid with a startling white table cloth and napkins, bright cutlery and sparkling glasses. WOW! A 5 course dinner intertwined with the excellent range of wines produced by this vineyard. We started with the sparkling wine, then to I think a couple (could have been 3) whites, and then not before time, the reds, including his desert wine. All topped off with the 2015 award winning vintage red. 5 hours after arriving Augusto taxied us to the bus stop. Augusto gave us more than everything we wanted from this visit to the Tuscanny region of Italy. Sheer pleasure and a host that only wants to please. Thank you Italy, thank you Augusto.

5 Amazing Experience (Amelia)We had a wonderful experience with Luca as our guide, he also very kindly picked us up from Imola train station and took us to the Winery! The day began with an informative tour of the vineyard and wine cellar. The Winery is beautiful. We then had a private wine tasting accompanied with local meats and cheeses. The whole experience was brilliant and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

5 Visit to Cantina Assirelli (Sabrina)We were gifted this tasting with a visit to the Assirelli Winery in the Imola hills, above Dozza. We were immediately welcomed warmly and accompanied on a tour of the vineyards and the cellar with great professionalism and engagement. The love for this Winery shines through in the Sommelier who was our guide. We then concluded with a tasting of 7 different types of wine accompanied by cold cuts, cheeses and piadina. Everything was excellent!!!! It was a fantastic visit!!!
