About Winery and Wines

Nestled in the heart of the Langhe, a region celebrated for its picturesque rolling hills and rich viticultural heritage, Cadia Winery stands as a testament to a century-long devotion to the land and its bounty. Founded in 1913 by Marcello, the winery was born out of a profound respect for the vineyards and an unwavering commitment to cultivating high-quality grapes.

The true evolution of Cadia Winery unfolded in 1996 when Bruno, Marcello's grandson, made the pivotal decision to shift from solely selling grapes to crafting their own wines. This marked a transformative new chapter for the family, fueled by a deep-rooted love for the land that has been lovingly passed down through generations.

Today, Cadia Winery remains a family-run enterprise, with Bruno's wife, Mariella, their child Noemi and her husband Vincenzo, actively involved in the day-to-day operations. Their collective dedication to meticulous vineyard management and careful winemaking techniques has allowed them to create wines that authentically capture the essence of their unique terroir.

The Cadia family's passion for their craft is evident in every bottle, as they continue to honor their legacy while embracing the future. Their wines are a reflection of not just the land, but the enduring spirit and tradition that define Cadia Winery.

At Cadia Winery, every bottle tells a story of the Langhe region's rich viticultural legacy. With a steadfast focus on authenticity, the winery's portfolio predominantly highlights local grape varieties, honoring the time-honored traditions of this renowned area.

Among the white wines, Arneis emerges as a beloved local gem, cherished for its distinctive flavor profile. In the realm of reds, Cadia proudly offers a selection that includes Verduno Pelaverga, Dolcetto, Barbera, and the illustrious Nebbiolo. The Nebbiolo grape, in particular, plays a starring role in crafting the prestigious Barolo Monvigliero—a wine that captures the elegance and complexity synonymous with Langhe's unique terroir.

Beyond the local varieties, Cadia Winery also embraces international influences with wines made from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. These varieties hold a special place in the heart of the owner, adding a global dimension to the winery's offerings.

Each wine at Cadia is crafted with meticulous care, ensuring that every bottle encapsulates the distinct flavors and aromas that define the Langhe region. Through dedication and passion, Cadia Winery delivers an authentic experience that celebrates the true essence of its homeland.
