Bel Colle was born in 1978 from the will of the Pontiglione and Priola families, who at that time chose to invest in a peripheral territory, that of Verduno, yet rich in potential. It was a happy and far-sighted choice, which, thanks to the efforts of an enlightened oenologist, Paolo Torchio, led Bel Colle to become one of the most important wineries in Verduno, the first Italian producer of Verduno Pelaverga and one of the landmark symbols of the rebirth of this area. In the 1990s, the choice was made to invest in the native grape varieties of the Langhe, Nebbiolo for Barolo and Barbaresco, Barbera and Dolcetto. But Bel Colle was also far-sighted on whites, giving ample space to Arneis, Roero's princely variety, Favorita, and Nascetta, a rare indigenous variety of Novello. Under the leadership of Paolo Torchio, the winery's style was distinguished by its ability to produce clean, highly elegant wines with an austere femininity and finesse that made them instantly recognizable. Since 2015, Bel Colle has been owned by the Bosio family, which has relaunched the purchase and arrangement of the vineyards, focusing production on the highest quality expressions of the territory: Barolo, Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba and Barbare d'Asti. At the same time, it relaunched quality work focused on native white wines, including Alta Langa, Piedmont's iconic Metodo Classico. Today the Bel Colle winery is run by Luca Bosio and Mario Albrito. Luca represents the new generation of the Bosio family, the courage to take new paths, and the desire to expand the vineyards in the most suitable areas, experimenting with the creation of new labels. Mario, on the other hand, is the historical memory of the winery. Born in 1963, he is a veteran of Langhe wine, with more than 40 years of harvesting behind him. A student of Paolo Torchio and a follower of his "native" oenology, he has been at Bel Colle since the early 2000s, a true expert on the terroir of Verduno and the surrounding hills. Their task is to put more than 40 years of winemaking excellence to good use through wide-ranging sustainable viticulture and winemaking that respects differences. An awareness that is combined with careful parceling of vineyards, from which to obtain single vineyards and labels that are increasingly representative of the inseparable bond that binds the Langhe to its wines.

Nestled in the heart of the Langhe, a region celebrated for its picturesque rolling hills and rich viticultural heritage, Cadia Winery stands as a testament to a century-long devotion to the land and its bounty. Founded in 1913 by Marcello, the winery was born out of a profound respect for the vineyards and an unwavering commitment to cultivating high-quality grapes. The true evolution of Cadia Winery unfolded in 1996 when Bruno, Marcello's grandson, made the pivotal decision to shift from solely selling grapes to crafting their own wines. This marked a transformative new chapter for the family, fueled by a deep-rooted love for the land that has been lovingly passed down through generations. Today, Cadia Winery remains a family-run enterprise, with Bruno's wife, Mariella, their child Noemi and her husband Vincenzo, actively involved in the day-to-day operations. Their collective dedication to meticulous vineyard management and careful winemaking techniques has allowed them to create wines that authentically capture the essence of their unique terroir. The Cadia family's passion for their craft is evident in every bottle, as they continue to honor their legacy while embracing the future. Their wines are a reflection of not just the land, but the enduring spirit and tradition that define Cadia Winery.

Cantina I Brè, a small family winery located in Verduno, in the heart of the Langhe. Our story began in 1990 from the passion of my grandparents, Luciano and Teresina, who decided to dedicate themselves to viticulture to enhance their land. Today, the winery covers 25 hectares planted with vines, every stage of production is taken care of with love and attention by my whole family, from the work in the vineyards to the harvest, which is done strictly by hand, allowing us to select only the best grapes to ensure a healthy, high-quality product. We do not use presses and vinify only the free-run juice, to maximize the aromas and flavors of the grapes. In addition, we are committed to protecting the environment by limiting phytosanitary treatments to a minimum, so as to preserve the health of the plant and the soil. Prominent among our references is Verduno Pelaverga, a unique and special wine produced from an indigenous grape variety that grows only in the borders of Verduno. Pelaverga is a spicy wine with distinctive notes of white pepper that characterize its flavor profile. We also offer two highly prestigious Barolos, both with added geographical mention: Barolo Monvigliero, a robust and complex wine with enveloping tannins and hints of red fruits, and Barolo Cru Breri, for which we are the only winery to hold a monopoly, an easy-drinking wine with softer tannins and floral and spicy notes. Completing the range of our wines are Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, Roero Arneis DOCG from a small family plot in Montaldo Roero, Barbera d'Alba DOC and a “Ciano” blend of Nebbiolo and Pelaverga dedicated to Grandpa Luciano. Our strength is the deep connection with the territory, the family love and passion for our work that we put into each bottle
