Azienda Agricola La Collina

La Collina was born in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the heart of Chianti near Florence, at the end of the '60s from the passion of Riccardo Camiciottoli, who began the production of Chianti Classico, one of the most famous Tuscan wines. The farm has kept the familiar conduction: the current members (Ilaria Camiciottoli and Enrico Diomedi Camassei) work in the vineyard and cellar, passing on to new generations the passion for artisanal and genuine wine.

La Collina Winery is located in the land of Sangiovese, the quintessential Tuscan grape variety, and we produce Chianti Classico, famous around the world with the brand of black rooster (gallo nero), whose history has its roots in ancient times in the hills between Florence and Siena.

We produce the red wines Chianti Classico Annata DOCG (refined in steel) and Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG (aged in barrique), and white wine (Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT); we also produce Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC, a passito wine aged in "caratelli", and spirits (grappa and brandy). Extra Virgin Olive Oil completes our production.
