Heartwarming wine tasting

The staff was awesome, tour was very informative, wine was very special and good and the snacks offered next to wine were well thought of.

The wine tasting was really educational, fun and informal. So it was a great experience! and the host was really social,
funny and had a lot of knowledge to pass on to us.
Highly recommend because the wine was really good too!

Great presentation and tasting

Gemma was really lovely and knowledgeable about the whole thing and made a huge difference on the experience.

Apart from the place which look very modern and entrepreneurial, a contrast with other “bodegas” in the region, which we loved.

The tasting was perfect and we bought plenty of wine to take.
Maybe some intetional pairing with food
Would be nice
A proper “maridaje” experience

About Winery and Wines

Bell Cros is a young, dynamic project with deep roots, producing wines from DO Montsant. Founded in 2017 by Swedish couple Ann & Peter, the project started with a small piece of land and has since expanded to 25 hectares, with 17 hectares planted with 30- to 80-year-old Carinyena and Garnacha vines. Bell Cros produces approximately 50,000 bottles annually, aiming to spread happiness through its wines.

Focused on the upper-quality segment, Bell Cros strives to become one of the top five wineries in DO Montsant. With this ambition in mind, the winery has enlisted Joan Asens, named Winemaker of the Year 2019 in Catalonia, one of Spain's top winemakers. The estate achieved EU organic and Vegan certification in 2023, reflecting a commitment to sustainable viticulture from the start.

The Bell Cros project is about fun, enjoyment, and crafting exceptional wines. Visitors are invited to explore the estate and share their thoughts on the journey so far.

Producing wines for the upper-quality segment, Bell Cros strives to be one of the top five wineries in DO Montsant. Joan Asens, a renowned winemaker responsible for the iconic L`Ermita at Alvaro Palacios in Priorat and named Winemaker of the Year 2019 in Catalonia, has been shaping this project since its inception in 2017. The winery offers a diverse range of wines made from indigenous Carinyena and Garnacha, including four reds, one rosé, two whites, and a sparkling Ancestral. The "ONE OFF" limited edition range features unique wines made only once.

Bell Cros is EU-certified organic, and all wines are Vegan. The state-of-the-art winery, completed for the 2022 vintage harvest, produced the La Figaflor 2022, awarded best white wine made from Garnacha Blanca in "La Guia de Vins de Catalunya 2024." This recognition highlights Bell Cros' dedication to excellence and its pursuit of becoming a leading name in DO Montsant.
