Saó del Coster

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €20.00
Saó del Coster is a winery that works organically and in the spirit of the biodynamy philosophy in Priorat. We respect the cycles of nature and refusse to use herbicides and pesticides at all cost. We offer tasting tours in several languages. Since its inception, Saó del Coster has worked organically and traditionally: it respects the cycles of nature, carries out biodynamic treatments and the lunar calendar sets the guidelines for its agricultural and oenological work, ploughing with mules and prohibiting the use of motorized vehicles in the vineyards. It is a mystical challenge which seeks to recover a work method practically on the verge of extinction. From the recovery of abandoned old vines from with low production, together with the purchase of grapes from neighboring producers who share the same values, we produce some 20,000 bottles a year. Small quantities allow full control over the winemaking process. The strength of an exceptional terroir such as that of Priorat allow vines of the varieties, among others, Garnacha and Cariñena, to remain productive even century old.  Our winery is located in a 19th century old house in the middle of the village of Gratallops, where the resurection of Modern Priorat took place. For the visits, in English, French and German (in addition to Catalan and Spanish), booking in advance is recommended but you can take you chance and knock at our door. It include a guided visit of the winery and/or vineyards, as well as a tasting of our wines.

Celler Devinssi

Celler Devinssi is a boutique winery in Gratallops, DOQ Priorat, Catalonia, Spain. Celler Devinssi was founded in 2000 by Josep Roca, a wine distributor, wine maker and wine enthusiast from Barcelona.  The winery's name is easy to decipher. Celler = cellar/winery, Devinssi = De Vins, Sí = about wines, yes (in the Catalan language). It is also a play on the words because it hints at (Leonardo) Da Vinci (when pronounced in Catalan, it sounds the same as Devinssi), meaning that artisan wine-making is akin to art.  Celler Devinssi has been offering wine tastings for over 20 years, mostly hosted at the vineyards, in the lap of nature, overlooking the Priorat vineyard panorama. It has consistently won the Travellers' Choice award by TripAdvisor since 2014 as the number one winery in Gratallops, the Tarragona province (Costada Daurada), and Catalonia. It's one of the most highly-rated Spanish wineries on TripAdvisor.  Jordi Ustrell is Celler Devinssi's wine tasting host and the person managing the bookings.

BODEGUES VISENDRA
(Winery in Tarragona)

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €15.00
The Sendra family has called the town of Les Pobles home for generations, dedicating their lives to the cultivation of vines. With time, passion, and an evolving approach to viticulture, the family has consistently produced high-quality grapes, selling them for decades to well-known wine houses. The first plots were acquired in 1986, and today the estate spans 89 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards. In 2010, the Sendra brothers took a transformative step by founding Bodegues Visendra, a name that symbolizes not only their wine but also their family and values. More than a business, Visendra is a project rooted in emotion, identity, and the desire to share something deeply personal. It is an invitation for others to become part of their journey, just as many have already done. The vineyards are located in Les Pobles and Santes Creus, near the historic monastery where monks once made wine centuries ago. This unique setting, with its combination of rich soils, Mediterranean climate, and ideal elevation, gives the grapes their distinctive character and ensures exceptional quality. The land has a noble history. Acquired between 1884 and 1900, when noble families such as the Counts of Mora and Aragon and the Marques Olivella sold their holdings to local sharecroppers, it passed into the hands of the Sendra family and others in Aiguamúrcia, who have cultivated it for generations. The cellar itself has its own story. Originally functioning as a winery until the 1970s, the building was purchased by the family around the year 2000. It initially served as a storage space for agricultural equipment until 2010, when it was lovingly restored and transformed into the winery’s new production facility, where Bodegues Visendra wines are now crafted. Committed to sustainable farming, the vineyards are cultivated without pesticides or herbicides, driven by a respect for human health, environmental responsibility, and future generations. While production remains limited, the desire is to reach as many people as possible with wines that are genuine expressions of place, purpose, and people. Bodegues Visendra is more than a winery — it is a heartfelt vision, built on land, legacy, and the strength of family.
