Boas Quintas offers an immersive wine tourism experience in the heart of the Dão wine region, set across 12 hectares of vineyards at the modern winery in Quinta da Giesta, Mortágua. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the winery, learn about the Boas Quintas project, and explore the winemaking process, followed by a curated wine tasting. Established in 1991 by Nuno Cancela de Abreu, a fourth-generation winemaker with over 130 years of family tradition, Boas Quintas has evolved into a multi-regional project, producing wines in Dão, Bucelas, the Peninsula of Setúbal, Alentejo, and Porto.
With vineyards spanning multiple wine regions, Boas Quintas embraces a philosophy centered on diversity, believing that each wine possesses its own unique nature and identity. This approach has earned the winery critical acclaim, with Nuno Cancela de Abreu being named “Winemaker of the Year 2016” and the company honored as “Company of the Year 2016” by Revista de Vinhos.
