Bodega del Nero is a historic winery located in the picturesque town of Chinchón, just 45 km from Madrid. Founded in 1870, this family-run winery has been passed down through five generations of winemakers, each dedicated to preserving traditional winemaking techniques. The winery's building, over 150 years old, is designed with thick walls and an ideal orientation that ensures naturally balanced temperature and humidity, creating the perfect conditions for wine aging. Situated in the Las Vegas region, Bodega del Nero allows visitors to immerse themselves in a medieval atmosphere while experiencing the rich heritage of Chinchón. Today, the fifth generation has returned to crafting wines using ancient methods, including the use of traditional earthen jars for fermentation.
