Bodegas González Palacios is a family-owned winery with a legacy deeply rooted in history and a profound passion for viticulture. Founded in 1960 by D. Francisco González Palacios in the historic town of Lebrija (Seville), a place legend claims was founded by Bacchus, the god of wine, what began as a local wine lover's devoted hobby has blossomed into a benchmark of excellence and tradition.

Our true hallmark and greatest source of pride is the D.O.P. Lebrija. We are the only wine designation of origin in the entire province of Seville, and we enjoy an extraordinary distinction nationwide: it is the only Designation of Origin in Andalusia granted exclusively to a single winery. Furthermore, we are deeply honored to belong to and craft wines under the umbrella of the prestigious D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry.

Our facilities reflect a perfect blend of vanguard and heritage. We operate two cellars: One nestled in the historic center of Lebrija with over 50 years of history dedicated to traditional aging, and the other is located on the Pago de Overo estate, where the red wines reach their maturity. With a privileged location on the banks of the Guadalquivir River and just a few kilometers from the ocean, we work tirelessly every day to bottle the very essence of our land.

Our wines are the pure expression of Lebrija's terroir and its exceptional microclimate. The proximity to the sea and the Guadalquivir River allows the Atlantic breezes to sweep through our vineyards daily. These breezes infuse our grapes with unique notes of iodine and salinity, granting our wines an unmistakable character rich in nuances.

We carefully cultivate around 22 hectares of vines grown on the characteristic and highly prized "albariza" soils. Our fine selection of grape varieties includes Palomino, Moscatel, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This agricultural wealth enables us to offer a diverse and award-winning portfolio: from highly expressive white and red wines, naturally sweet wines, and mistelas.

Our other great hallmark is our emblematic Flor de Lebrija. This wine, a true oenological jewel, is crafted through biological aging under a layer of "flor" yeast. While it shares a soul and a style very similar to Manzanilla from Sanlúcar or Fino from Jerez, the Flor de Lebrija is uniquely ours and possesses a distinct personality. Aged in our American oak barrels, it feeds on the western winds and the singular microclimate of our cellar, resulting in a dry, crisp, elegant wine with saline touches that make it a fascinating rarity for any palate.

The aging process for our entire range is strictly meticulous. Our fortified wines rest patiently in a collection of casks previously seasoned following the strictest traditional methods, while our red wines are refined in noble French and American oak. Our unwavering commitment to supreme quality is reflected in our international prestige and the applause of wine critics, resulting in up to six of our wines scoring over 90 points in the demanding Peñín Guide.
