About Winery and Wines
Bodegas Navaltallar is located in Navalilla, just a stone's throw from the Duratón River, within the Valtiendas PDO, which is renowned for being the highest Denomination of Origin in Europe, with an average altitude of 920 meters. Surrounded by the Ribera del Duero PDO, Navaltallar enjoys unique climatic conditions that help produce distinctive wines. Though a relatively young winery, established in 2010, it has quickly become a significant player in the wine market, producing around 40,000 bottles per year. The winery has built a reputation both domestically, in key markets like Madrid, Segovia, and the Costa del Sol, and internationally, with a strong presence in countries like Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and the U.S., where their wines are well-received in high-demand markets under the "Spirit of the Bull" brand.
Navaltallar produces a variety of wines that beautifully balance acidity and alcohol strength, with notable phenolic maturity and high color intensity. The range includes young wines aged four months in barrels, as well as oak-aged varieties with eight months, and Crianza wines aged for 16 months. The winery's precision in achieving an elegant balance of flavors has made its products highly sought after. In addition to its own labels, Navaltallar also produces wines for other brands, cementing its role as a leading winery in the region and a benchmark for wine tourism in Valtiendas.
