Bonfadini Franciacorta

Bonfadini Franciacorta is a family-owned winery founded in 1956 by Giovanni Bonfadini, a lifelong farmer in the heart of Franciacorta. His passion for the land was passed on to his son Graziano, who took over the family vineyards in 1993, dedicating himself to cultivating high-quality grapes for some of the region’s most prestigious wineries.

A turning point came in 2007, when Graziano’s daughter Francesca joined the family business with the ambition of producing wines under the Bonfadini name. Her vision became reality in 2009 with the release of the first Franciacorta DOCG Bonfadini Nobilium Brut. The project continued to grow with the arrival of her brother Andrea Bonfadini in 2011 and renowned winemaker Gianni Gasperi in 2013, establishing Bonfadini as a producer of Franciacorta wines with a distinctive identity and personality.

Today, Bonfadini produces around 120,000 bottles annually, with a long-term vision of reaching 200,000 bottles while maintaining uncompromising quality standards. The winery has earned numerous awards and international recognition, becoming one of the emerging names of Franciacorta.

Bonfadini Franciacorta produces an elegant collection of six Franciacorta DOCG wines, all crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on the glacial morainic hills of Franciacorta. The vineyards are planted primarily with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, cultivated using Guyot and spur-cordon training systems to ensure exceptional fruit quality.

The range includes Nobilium Brut, a refined blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with at least 24 months on the lees, offering freshness, honeyed aromas, and vibrant acidity. Carpe Diem Satèn, made from 100% Chardonnay, stands out for its creamy texture, elegant perlage, and delicate notes of fruit and vanilla. Opera Rosé combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to create a mineral-driven sparkling rosé with aromas of red berries and cherries.

For lovers of drier styles, Veritas Nature is a zero-dosage Franciacorta aged for at least 30 months, characterized by notes of bread crust, minerality, and remarkable balance. The prestigious vintage cuvées include Aurora Rosé Millesimato, aged for 40 months on the lees, and Victus Nature Millesimato, matured for 32 months, both expressing exceptional complexity, elegance, and longevity.

Every Bonfadini Franciacorta is produced according to the traditional method, combining extended lees aging, meticulous craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the unique terroir of Franciacorta to create sparkling wines of remarkable finesse and personality.
