It was in a very homely setting and wholesome We tasted 6 wines and they were all good and I particularly loved the sparking whites they have Will definitely go there again if we ever plan a trip again to that part of Italy

5 Very good wining (Maria)We had a lovely wine tasting morning at the Dossi cantine. It's the only cantine were you can choose how many kinds of wine you want to tast White and red wine, they all had a very good explanation in perfect English. Also the plate with local cheese and salami was a good combination.

The Archetti family made us feel at home with Michela guiding us through the tasting and her mother providing cheeses and meats. We were impressed with the flavors expressed through the grapes! Luca also sat with us and opened one of his favorites to share also. We were staying in Brescia and Il Dosso was an easy drive. This winery had what we look for; personal attention, generations of wine experience, and a passion for producing wine. We highly recommend this as one of our favorite tasting experiences in Lombardy.

5 Excellent and informative tour (Annie)We had such a great time visiting Il Dosso Winery in Franciacorta. It’s a small, family-run place and you really feel that personal touch throughout the tour. It was really interesting to see how they work and to hear the passion behind what they do. The wines were excellent, with a lovely variety to try, and the tasting was made even better by the local meats and cheeses they served alongside – such a perfect match! A really warm and welcoming experience – I’d definitely recommend Il Dosso if you want something more personal and authentic than the bigger tours.

The wines were absolutely delicious, and the explanations were clear, interesting, and full of passion. What made it even more special was meeting the whole family – it gave the experience a truly personal touch. Even though it was just the two of us, we were given a full tour and all the time in the world to ask questions and learn more. It felt intimate, welcoming, and truly authentic. Also, my wife doesn’t eat meat, and they went out of their way to accommodate her – which we really appreciated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and memorable wine experience!

5 Beautiful journey at a Franciacorta winery... (Jason)From start to finish, Matteo made this experience worthwhile, capturing the essence and passion he has for the wine he and his family have been making for 6 generations. The charcuterie board coupled with a sampling of exquisite wines made us wish we could have spent more time in this beautiful part of Italy. 5 Dosso Archetti (Alexandra)Like the super Tuscans, some off traditional (DOC regulations ) wines. Really refreshing in both taste and special. Lots of details how the owner Luca creates wines out of the ordinary. Besides the special Rose spumante VSQ the red wine Calvario barriques and Anfora are what we took home. Spectacular.

5 Very nice family winery (Anna)We had a very nice experience at "Il dosso". The owner took us into the history of the winery and it was a very pleasent experience for the 5 of us. We tasted three different wines, two whites and a red that was incredibly good (il calvario) very unusual for the area but extremely fine and bodied. The charcuteries served were so fine that we had to ask for some more. It was a very fine experience that I like to raccomend to everyone.
