The Casetto farm was established in 1999 when Aldo and Luana Brancher returned to their native Verona, seeking the perfect setting to raise their children, Chiara, Alessandra, and Andrea. Today, the winery is managed by the second generation of the family, driven by bold and ambitious plans inspired by a deep passion for winemaking and a desire to share the vibrant lifestyle of Lake Garda with visitors. Located in the heart of the Bardolino Classico appellation, the estate sits on a scenic slope overlooking Lake Garda. This is a place where tradition and authenticity blend seamlessly to produce exceptional wines. Each bottle reflects the unique character of the land, offering a journey through the world of wine infused with the beauty and essence of Lake Garda.
The perfect location chosen by the Brancher family became home to Casetto Winery, producing 10 distinctive wines: Chiaretto di Bardolino (still and sparkling), Bardolino Classico, Bardolino Superiore, Decanto, Bral, Eremus, Lugana, Pinot Grigio, and Colle Chiara.
Set on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, the vineyards of Casetto Winery are bathed in the breathtaking light of lake sunsets, creating an ideal environment for vine cultivation. Alongside traditional Veronese grape varieties, the vineyards also grow grapes for the Lugana and Garda appellations, capturing the full potential of this remarkable terroir.
The secret to these wines lies in using grape varieties known for their fresh, youthful, and fruity notes, combined with meticulous vinification. Balance, elegance, and aromatic complexity define this collection of DOC and IGT wines, each showcasing a bold and authentic character that reflects the essence of the land.
