Goretti Winery is a family-owned and operated estate with a rich history that spans four generations. Goretti Winery produces a diverse range of wines that capture the essence of Umbria's unique terroir. Our vineyards are located in the prestigious "D.O.C. Colli Perugini" and "Montefalco D.O.C.G." regions, renowned for their exceptional Sagrantino di Montefalco and other celebrated varieties.
Sagrantino di Montefalco D.O.C.G.: This is the crown jewel of our production, a powerful and complex red wine made from the indigenous Sagrantino grape. It is known for its deep color, robust tannins, and rich flavors of dark fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. This wine is aged to perfection, offering a long and elegant finish that reflects the unique characteristics of the Montefalco terroir.
Grechetto D.O.C.: A white wine that showcases the rich heritage of Umbria, Grechetto is vibrant and fresh with notes of green apple, pear, and subtle floral aromas. Its crisp acidity and mineral undertones make it a perfect companion to a variety of dishes.
Rosso di Montefalco D.O.C.: This red blend, featuring Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and other local varieties, is well-balanced and approachable, with flavors of ripe red berries, plum, and a hint of spice. It is a versatile wine that pairs beautifully with Italian cuisine.
Colli Perugini D.O.C.: Our wines from this designation include both reds and whites that embody the traditional flavors of the region. These wines are crafted with care to highlight the unique qualities of the local grape varieties, offering a true taste of Umbria.
