About Winery and Wines

The Albea winery is one of the oldest and most accredited wineries in the area. It represents an important example of how modern production realities can be reconciled with classical structures. The winery was born around the beginning of the 20th century and its structure is entirely made of stone, with the cisterns intended to contain the wine buried in the rock, just as the water tanks once were. The winery now produces around 350000 bottles of wine destinated for international market. The winery is divided in two floor. On the first floor there is the production : stainless steel, barrow and bottling line, warehouse and office and on the second flor is located a very interesting and unique wine museum.

The Alberobello Wine Museum is a tribute to the oenological and agricultural culture of this area and of the whole of Puglia. The rich collection of ancient agricultural tools, some of which are of the same type in use before the birth of Christ and still used until a few decades ago, and the rich photographic documentation, lead the visitor through a visual itinerary that makes him aware of the various techniques of winemaking adopted in the past up to the undoubtedly more refined and sophisticated ones of today.

Our commitment is the production of wine excellences that combine a production attentive to the needs of the consumer, eco-sustainability , with a maniacal attention to the whole process of the chain: from the vineyard to the bottle with an eye to the future. We only work with native vines such as Primitivo, Nero di Troia, Negroamaro, Verdeca, Fiano, Bianco d'Alessano and Maresco
