Great wine tour

Daniele gave a very pleasant wine tour. His passion for the work was clearly there, and the wines we tasted were really nice. We would definitely recommend the tour!

Exceptional, Personalized Wine tasting

Avoid all the large wineries clambering for your attention and take a drive out to Cantina Rossi Daniele. You will have a unique experience where you will have a brief, but informative tour of the wine production and vineyards, and then end up with a gourmet charcuterie board and 5 generous pours of wine. We had the owner, Daniele, all to ourselves and peppered him with questions. This was a highlight of our visit to Assisi!!

A very nice moment

I booked a wine tasting for me and 4 friends and it has been a wonderful experience. 5 plentiful glasses of wine have been served and described, with a rich platter of cured meats, cheeses, pates and jams. The place visit has been both chilling and interesting and we appreciated it a lot. One of us found it so good that booked immediately a launch in the farmhouse for the following days to welcome some foreign friends.

Abbiamo partecipato ad una degustazione dove ci sono state presentate 5 etichette prodotte. Daniele e sua moglie sono due persone estremamente cordiali e professionali. Un particolare encomio a Daniele, vinaio preparato ed eccellente padrone di casa ! La location è meravigliosa.

Posto incantevole, atmosfera accogliente, titolari ospitali, buon vino (il Rosso Montescosso top), prodotti eccellenti (patè ed olio spettacolari). Una degustazione di livello in un ambiente che sa di casa.

About Winery and Wines

The Rossi Daniele winery was born as a farmhouse with a cellar open to visits. The winery is located in Torgiano, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy on the Cantico wine route. Their vineyards extend over 4 hectares facing southwest with clayey and sandy soils with a GUYOT training system. In these vineyards, different types of grapes are grown, from Merlot to Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Grechetto di Todi, and Trebbiano Spoletino. The company is family-run but undoubtedly the main figure of the winery is Rossi Daniele, who defines himself as a "passionate winemaker" who signs his wines with his own logo consisting of a D and R that go to design the barrel you see on the label.
