Cantina Santo Iolo

About the Winery

Nestled atop a scenic hill, our small, family-run winery is a hidden gem where tradition and innovation come together in perfect harmony. From vineyard care to harvest, winemaking, bottling, and marketing, we personally oversee every step of the production process to ensure that each bottle reflects our passion and dedication.

Our cellar is seamlessly integrated into the hillside, with only three stone arches and a large portico visible, safeguarding the wines in the natural embrace of the earth. Here, modern technology meets ancient craftsmanship, preserving the essence of our terroir while respecting the traditions of winemaking.

Every visit to our winery offers an intimate and authentic experience, where guests can explore the soul of our land through the wines we meticulously craft, each one telling a unique story of care, patience, and dedication.

About the Wines

Our wines are a true expression of our terroir, crafted with precision and respect for both native and international grape varieties. Each bottle reflects the careful balance between tradition and modernity, delivering wines of great character and depth.

Pratalia & Pratalia in Anfora – Our white wines, made from Vermentino, showcase freshness and complexity, with the amphora-aged version offering additional texture and structure.

Santoiolo – Our flagship red blend, a refined and powerful combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, embodying elegance and intensity.

Single-varietal Reds – We also produce Alicante, Malbec, Syrah, and Merlot, each expressing the unique qualities of the grape variety and the land where it grows.

From crisp, mineral-driven whites to bold, structured reds, our wines invite enthusiasts to experience the harmony of nature, craftsmanship, and passion, all bottled in the heart of our hillside estate.

Wonderful
Truly enchanting place and kind and helpful staff.
The tasting was pleasant and interesting. I recommend the place both for spending a relaxing day and as a gift idea.
I would put some signs along the road, so as to reach the place more easily.

Tasting with friends
I was welcomed at the Santo Iolo cellars with my friends by beautiful sunshine and a girl who welcomed us and told us the history of the winery.

We tasted 4 very good wines (each of us bought at least one bottle) accompanied by some platters of local products.
Very intimate and well-kept atmosphere.

I highly recommend it if you want to spend a day away from the noise of the city in good company!
