Marta Valpiani

My name is Elisa Mazzavillani, and I proudly carry the name of my mother, Marta, the founder of our winery.

My life is intertwined with the Calanchi of Castrocaro Terme, a natural amphitheater now a WWF-affiliated oasis, where my passion for geology and botany guides my daily work. Together with my family, we cultivate vineyards and olive groves with a focus on biodiversity, transforming our respect for the environment into authentic native wines that express the character of our Romagna land.

Our wine tastings are accompanied by a farm-style snack featuring baked goods crafted by Marta’s skilled hands, fresh vegetables from our garden, local cheeses and cured meats, with special attention for vegetarians, vegans, and celiac guests.

We offer guided winery tours and wine tourism experiences designed to give every guest a full sensory journey, exploring flavors, aromas, and the rich culture of wine.

We craft our wines in an artisanal way, using natural spontaneous fermentations that respect the natural evolution of the must. Our wines are traditional, perfectly reflecting the character of each vintage and the unique terroir.

We cherish our native grape varieties: Albana, Trebbiano Romagnolo, and Sangiovese, which we interpret transparently and respectfully, letting the fruit and the land speak in every sip.

Each bottle is the result of careful work, combining artisanal care, biodiversity, and respect for the environment, offering an authentic taste of Romagna wine.
