In the heart of Bardolino, where the hills overlook Lake Garda, lies Zeni1870, a name that for over 150 years has been synonymous with excellence in wine and family dedication.

Our winery was founded in 1870 and is not just a place where wine is produced, but also a place that preserves the memory of the area. The Zeni family, across five generations, has continued to pass down the art of winemaking, evolving with the times without ever forgetting its roots. Every bottle we produce tells a part of this story, combining tradition with modern winemaking techniques.

We stand out for our ability to produce wines that truly reflect the character of the region. We are very proud to be one of the few wineries to produce wines of excellence across all five designations of origin in the province of Verona.

Our philosophy is based on respect for the terroir, that is, the place where the grapes grow. We want to capture the authentic essence of each area in the bottle. We aim to produce wines that are true representatives of the territory.

Bardolino, for example, is our house wine. It has an aroma reminiscent of the lake and tradition. Valpolicella is a wine that can be young and fresh, but also aged and majestic, like Amarone. Soave is an elegant white wine, born of volcanic soils. Lugana is a wine that expresses the minerality and unique savouriness of the southern shores of Lake Garda. Custoza is a wine that tells the story and captures the freshness of our morainic hills.

But our story doesn’t end there. We are always on the lookout for new horizons and new challenges. Our IGT wines are the result of our experimentation in the vineyard and in the cellar. These wines represent our “creative workshop”, where freedom of expression blends with our centuries-old experience. They are wines designed for those seeking something new and original in their glass, yet who do not compromise on the quality that the Zeni name has guaranteed since 1870.
