About Winery and Wines

Following in the footsteps of founder Christian Muller, Hedwige and Hugues, daughter and grandson, deeply
attached to the terroir of their region, put passion and rigor at the service of Champagne’s great growths. Christian Muller’s motto: «No good without pain» illustrates the family philosophy of consistently expressing the excellence of Champagne appellations. Our vineyard covers more than 15 hectares, exclusively in the village of Mailly-Champagne (just 15 minutes from Reims).
Mailly-Champagne is classified as a Grand Cru on the Champagne Crus scale.

This recognition is possible thanks to natural factors that contribute to the proper development of our vines and of our chalky soil,
sloping hillsides and optimal sunshine.

On our domaine, you’ll find two of Champagne’s noble grape varieties spread across our 70 plots:
- Pinot Noir (black grape), which accounts for 80% of our vineyards
- Chardonnay (white grape) accounts for 20%.

All our champagnes are certified HVE («High Environmental Value») and VDC (« Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne»). These methods aim to preserve as much as possible of the natural environment, biodiversity and the character of the soils, with a view to achieving a balanced approach to farming, while continuing to strive for the best possible quality.
