(Winery in Bordeaux, Graves, Southern Gironde)
About Winery and Wines
Château Cazebonne, located in Saint-Pierre de Mons, is a historic estate dating back to 1700. Today, the organically farmed property covers 40 hectares, showcasing a variety of terroirs including sandy, gravel, and clay-limestone soils. The estate is committed to reviving Bordeaux's lost grape varieties from the 19th century, cultivating over 25 different types. With a focus on heritage and biodiversity, Château Cazebonne offers wines that capture the region’s rich history and terroir.
Château Cazebonne produces an array of wines—red, white, rosé, and sparkling—crafted from forgotten grape varieties like Mancin, Castets, and Bouchalès. The estate emphasizes plot cuvées, allowing the unique terroirs to shape each wine's character. These wines are a revival of Bordeaux’s lost flavors, offering a modern yet authentic taste of the region’s winemaking history. Each bottle is designed to be enjoyed in a convivial setting, reflecting the estate’s passion for gourmet, approachable wines.
