Über das Weingut und die Weine

Acquired in 2009 by Didier and Olivia Le Calvez and renamed after their daughter, this magnificent 15-hectare estate is located on the ventilated plateau of Puisseguin. A family project for an elegant and harmonious wine resulting from the successful marriage of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. The entire winemaking process relies on environmentally friendly farming practices respecting the nature and clay-limestone soils of this rich terroir. Château Clarisse obtained organic certification in 2019 and is now transitioning to biodynamics with the tailored support of Jacques Fourès.

Among connoisseurs, Clarisse wine is a benchmark for its powerful and dense, yet velvety and silky texture. "The best ever made! Dark and intense color. Fruity and very ripe nose. Fleshy and melting palate developing aromatic and even greasy. Beautiful sapid and smooth length without angles. A delight!"
