Chateau Clarisse
About the Winery
Acquired in 2009 by Didier and Olivia Le Calvez and named after their daughter, Château Clarisse is a 15-hectare estate located on the plateau of Puisseguin. Combining the elegance of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the family-run vineyard follows an environmentally responsible approach and is deeply committed to preserving the natural balance of its terroir. Now embracing biodynamic practices for its white wines, Chardonnay and Sémillon/Sauvignon Blanc, the estate continues to craft exceptional wines that respect the unique clay-limestone soils of its terroir.
About the Wines
Château Clarisse produces wines that are recognized for their powerful yet velvety texture, a perfect expression of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Praised for their intense color, ripe fruit aromas, and a fleshy, melting palate, these wines offer long, smooth finishes. Guided by traditional craftsmanship and a strong environmental commitment, the estate creates wines that beautifully embody the richness of the Puisseguin terroir.
