About Winery and Wines

d’Araprì, located in Capitanata, Puglia, is known for producing high-quality sparkling wines in a region traditionally associated with red wines. The land here, generous and fertile due to its unique composition, benefits from a perfect combination of climate, exposure, and soil. Sheltered by the Majella mountains and the Gargano Promontory, this area is naturally protected from frost and excess moisture, making it ideal for viticulture. Since its inception, D’Araprì has dedicated itself to producing sparkling wines using the traditional method, with a particular focus on quality and the meticulous care of its vineyards. The winery prides itself on producing wines that reflect the rich terroir of the region, blending the passion and expertise of its founders to create a unique sparkling wine experience in Puglia.

d’Araprì specializes in creating elegant sparkling wines through the "metodo classico" or traditional method, ensuring the highest quality. The vineyards are cultivated using the "pergola pugliese" system, with a density of 3,500 branches per hectare, promoting an ideal sugar-to-acid ratio for sparkling wines. Their sparkling wines have a low pH and an excellent balance of malic and tartaric acids, ensuring a refined and complex flavor profile. The grapes grown in the limestone-clay soil of Capitanata benefit from slow, even ripening, preserving their aromatic complexity. Each bottle of D’Araprì wine tells the story of the land and the care taken to cultivate these exceptional vineyards.
