Domaine Coudoulet
About the Winery
Since 1840, the Ournac family has been dedicated to protecting, preserving, and passing down our Languedoc vineyard through eight generations. Domaine Coudoulet, nestled on the foothills of the Black Mountain in the heart of the Minervois region, is the embodiment of our family’s passion for winemaking. Our vineyards flourish in clay-limestone soil, surrounded by the fragrant garrigue of junipers, thymes, holm oaks, wild lavender, almond, and olive trees. The vines are located between 80 and 350 meters above sea level, benefiting from the fresh mountain air, which enhances the quality of the grapes. At Domaine Coudoulet, we focus on sustainable farming and traditional winemaking, creating elegant wines that reflect the unique character of each plot of land.
About the Wines
Domaine Coudoulet is renowned for its AOP Minervois and Cru La Livinière wines, with a particular emphasis on Syrah, crafted from the finest grapes of our Piedmont terroir. These red wines are known for their finesse and elegance, showcasing the delicate balance between tradition and modernity. Beyond Syrah, our family cultivates over 20 grape varieties, including rare selections such as Verdejo from Spain, Petit Verdot from Bordeaux, Sangiovese from Italy, Petite Syrah from California, and Assyrtiko from Greece. This diversity allows us to create wines that cater to modern tastes while respecting the rich heritage of southern France. At Domaine Coudoulet, each bottle is a celebration of our winemaking legacy and our commitment to producing wines of exceptional quality.

Domaine Coudoulet very personal
It would be good to be able to choose the language when booking and if you prefer the visit alone or with more visitors. A visit to the vineyards could be optional for an extra price.
