Wine House Ivan Katunar carries forward a proud family tradition of winemaking. Father and son, both named Ivan, have seamlessly combined experience and tradition with modern knowledge and technologies in their wine production.

The journey began in 1989 with the first bottles marking the commercialization of their family’s long-standing winemaking heritage. Today, the Katunar family continues this legacy, highlighting the importance of wine in daily life and preserving the land and expertise for future generations.

Located in Vrbnik, a place where viticulture and wine production have been central to life for centuries, the winery benefits from an ideal setting. The vineyards, all situated in the Vrbnik fields above the sea, offer exceptional conditions for grape growing, ensuring the production of high-quality wines.

Wine House Ivan Katunar produces a diverse selection of high-quality wines from renowned grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Yellow Muscat. However, the true pride of the winery lies in its flagship wines, Žlahtina and Sansigot, crafted from indigenous grapes that are unique to the Vrbnik region.
