Founded on September 15, 2015, L’avventura is the result of Stefano and Gabriella's desire to change their lives and pursue their passion for winemaking at the age of 50. Nestled in the heart of the Piglio denomination in Ciociaria, L’avventura embodies the spirit of organic and regenerative agriculture. The estate spans ten hectares, dedicated primarily to cultivating native Cesanese and Passerina del Frusinate vines, along with a small plot for Pinot Noir. The winery also features 120 olive trees, producing excellent extra virgin olive oil. The Wine Resort, Casale Verdeluna, offers a unique hospitality experience with six rooms, a restaurant serving refined yet traditional cuisine, and a tasting room for wine courses and masterclasses. L’avventura is more than just a winery; it’s a commitment to sustainable, ethical living and an invitation to experience the beauty and tradition of the Ciociaria region.
L’avventura’s wines are a true reflection of the rich heritage and unique terroir of the Piglio region. The winery specializes in producing DOCG and IGT wines from native Cesanese and Passerina del Frusinate vines, with a small portion dedicated to Pinot Noir. The wines are crafted with meticulous care, focusing on quality and authenticity. The Cesanese del Piglio DOCG Superiore is a standout, showcasing the bold flavors and elegant structure of this native grape.
