Montecariano, Valpolicella e Cinema....esperienza unica!!

About Winery and Wines
Montecariano Winery, located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, is managed by Mariella Gini and her sons, Matteo and Marco Galtarossa. The guiding principle of the winery is the profound respect for the rich history and traditions of the land. For Mariella and her family, winemaking is not just an agricultural activity but a form of cultural expression, where each wine is treated as a work of art. The Gini family sees themselves as custodians of the future rural world, committed to the principles of organic farming and environmental sustainability. In their approach, they aim to protect and preserve the landscape and its natural biodiversity, cultivating not only traditional grape varieties like Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella but also lesser-known native varieties such as Pelara, Oseleta, and Molinara. This dedication to authenticity and respect for nature is reflected in every aspect of the estate, from the preservation of the historic “marogne” (dry stone walls) to their forward-thinking, sustainable practice
Montecariano's wines are a true reflection of the Valpolicella terroir, combining tradition, authenticity, and sustainability. The vineyards are nestled in a landscape characterized by olive trees, cypresses, cherry trees, and large oaks, which thrive in the sunny, wind-protected environment. This unique setting, combined with the winery's dedication to organic farming, results in wines of exceptional quality and character. The Gini family produces a variety of wines, including the Valpolicella Classico DOC and Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore, each expressing the distinctive flavors of the region. Their Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "Camini Monga" and Amarone Riserva are rich and full-bodied, showcasing the family's expertise in traditional winemaking. In addition to these classics, Montecariano offers innovative IGT wines such as "Tutti i colori del rosso," "Mr Nobody," and their IGT Cabernet Sauvignon "Puntara." Each bottle embodies the family's passion for creating wines that honor the land's heritage while embracing the future.
