Pazo Señorans

At Pazo Señorans, we are taken back in time. 

Now converted into a winery, the Manor House is a magnificent example of those ancestral Galician houses (XVI century) built in the countryside with all the charm and history of days gone by. 

Pazo Señorans winery is located in the town of Meis, in the heart of the Valle del Salnés, within the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin. A privileged setting shaped by Atlantic influence, granite soils, and a lush, light-filled landscape that defines the distinctive character os its wine. 

The estate and winery, owned by Marisol Bueno and Javier Mareque, began their winemaking journey in 1979, committing from the outset to Albariño as their sole grape variety. Ten years later, in 1989, they released their first commercial vintage, marking the beginning of a path that would establish Pazo Señorans as one of Galicia's benchmark wineries.

We believe deeply in their full potential, from our young wines to the variety's aging capacity over time.

For years, we have been developing R&D&I projects with various entities and companies, focusing especially on the study of indigenous varieties, vineyard care, and environmental impact.

The Pazo Señorans vineyard is planted exclusively with the indigenous Albariño variety, cultivated using the traditional pergola (parra) training system. The vines are spread across several parcels, all located within an approximate 10-kilometre radius and close to the sea, resulting in a strong Atlantic influence and wines of fresh, well-defined character.
