Bellissima esperienza
Proprietari molto accoglienti e degustazione ottima, con scelta dei vini e ottimo accompagnamento di salumi e stuzzicherie varie.
Sicuramente da fermarsi se si passa in queste zone!

About Winery and Wines
Piccola Cantina Rossi is a certified organic vineyard farm (AIAB Umbria) located in the picturesque Umbrian countryside. The estate spans 5 hectares, with 4 dedicated to vineyards and 1 to an olive grove, situated on a ridge overlooking the Tiber Valley at 270 meters above sea level, near the medieval village of Castello delle Forme in the Municipality of Marsciano, Perugia. The Rossi family has managed the estate for generations, and today, it is run by Gianpiero, Eleonora, Federica, and Paola.
Specializing in natural, organic wines with the typical geographical indication (IGT) "Umbria," Gianpiero Rossi emphasizes that protecting the IGT designation does not compromise quality but rather preserves the personality and authenticity of the wines. He believes that adhering to DOC standards could impose restrictions that may alter the distinctive flavors and nuances achieved through their natural winemaking process.
Piccola Cantina Rossi produces unique, natural wines, associated with VinNatur, using only their own grapes. The wines are available in bottles and bag-in-box formats. No harmful chemicals are used in the vineyard or cellar. The wines contain only grapes and minimal sulfites, undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and are not filtered. The vineyard is cultivated with grass cover between the rows, and the organic certification ensures that all practices are carried out with respect for the land and the environment. Piccola Cantina Rossi caters to customers who value quality and authenticity, offering traditional cellar sales alongside an innovative online platform.
At Piccola Cantina Rossi, the organic and natural wines are crafted from a variety of grape varieties including Ciliegiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grechetto, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Trebbiano. The wines are bottled directly at the estate, using the classic Bordeaux bottle, ideal for both red and white wines.
The winery's labels include:
- Giauri: A blend of Merlot, Cabernet, and Cabernet Sauvignon
- Vignadina: A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
- The Pulciano: Made from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
- FeEl: A combination of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Sangiovese
- San Colombaro: Produced from Verdea
- Dory: Crafted from Sauvignon Blanc
The wines are designed for wine lovers who value organic, natural processes, and the wines are bottled in classic Bordeaux bottles, a widely used glass bottle known for preserving the character of both red and white wines.
