About Winery and Wines

Quinta da Casaboa is an 18th-century family-owned estate located just 50 minutes from Lisbon. Steeped in tradition, we focus on crafting quality wines from indigenous grape varieties grown on our estate. While preserving time-honored winemaking practices, we also welcome visitors to discover the estate’s hidden gems, including our chapel and hand-painted frescos. Our goal is to share not just our wines, but the stories behind them—stories of family, heritage, and our unique approach to winemaking.

At Quinta da Casaboa, we blend tradition with innovation, crafting wines that surprise and delight. Our range includes indigenous varieties like Alvarinho, Arinto, Touriga Nacional, and Alicante Bouschet, alongside blends with Merlot. Experimentation is at the heart of our philosophy, from Anfíbio, aged in the Atlantic Ocean, to Bendita Hora, a rediscovered golden white. Each bottle reflects our commitment to quality, delivering wines that embody both the heritage of the land and a modern, adventurous spirit.
