Francesca Aglitti and Alessandro Carapellotti founded Rosso del Borgo with the vision of creating unique wines in the Cesanese del Piglio region. The winery, centered around a charming red house, serves as the hub for production and tastings. Surrounded by picturesque vineyards on the rolling hills of the Ernici Mountains, the winery celebrates the area's famous Cesanese production.
Rosso del Borgo offers two standout reds: "Puccio," a blend of Cesanese and Sangiovese, and "Pedicate," a pure Cesanese. Both wines are crafted through artisanal, traditional methods, with hand-harvesting and careful attention to quality at each stage of production.
