About Winery and Wines
Francesca Aglitti and Alessandro Carapellotti created Rosso del Borgo out of their desire to create something unique in the Cesanese del Piglio lands.
A red house is the nerve center of the winery, home of the winery and the location for tastings.
The vineyards surround the winery and are lost among the ups and downs of the hills of the small town perched on the slopes of the Ernici Mountains, world-famous for the production of Cesanese.
Puccio and Pedicate are the two main reds from Rosso del Borgo. The former is a blend of Cesanese and Sangiovese while the latter is a pure Cesanese.
Produced solely with artisanal methods, from hand-harvesting to the various stages of production carried out in the most ancient Pigliese tradition.
