Sabaghina

Sabaghina is a farm that produces wines in Oltrepo Pavese, between the municipalities of Montalto Pavese, Lirio, Pietra de Giorgi, and Montecalvo Versiggia. In Sabaghina, we started producing wine for sale in the 1960s, but for generations, we have had it for our families. Today, we can count on an area entirely cultivated with vineyards of about 70 hectares. The position of the vineyards, the microclimatic and pedological situation, favors the production of excellent quality wines. Experience and tradition combined with modern winemaking technologies are the secret "recipe" for the success of our wines.

The wines we produce in Sabaghina are mainly those of the tradition in Oltrepò Pavese. Starting from the red wines such as Barbera, Buttafuoco and the traditional Bonarda, and the white wines Pinot Nero, Riesling Italico, and Pinot Grigio.

The Classic Method Sparkling Wines are excellent, and those produced according to the Martinotti Method can satisfy the most demanding tastes. More recently, we have produced more particular and innovative wines such as our 45° Parallelo or the 18 Carati Riesling Renano. A surprising novelty is the dry Moscato Rose & Fiori.
