Molto buona consigliata
Possibilità di alternative gluten free
Forse un po' più di presenza durante la degustazione. Avevamo domande ma il personale era impegnato nel negozio. Comprensibilissimo, ma è uno spunto per migliorare ancora un servizio già ottimo

Absolutely worth it!
After the tour the tasting startet, first the olive oil (insanely good, we didnt even know there was a way how to taste olive oil!), after the oil we tasted 3 different wines. After the tasting the guide gave us time to eat the cold cuts, accompanied by the wines and olives. It almost felt like having a apero with friends, the atmosphere was amazing!
After all, it was a truly worthy experience (even better then expected) and i'd defenitely reccommend it to everyone that has a sense of gourmet food or just to everyone that is into trying and seeing how non masss products are made / taste.
Thanks to everyone for this!

About Winery and Wines
Nestled on the southern slope of Mount Etna in the small town of Nicolosi, the Serafica family has been dedicated to viticulture and olive cultivation since 1950. For four generations, this family-owned estate has embraced the rich agro-biodiversity of Sicily, transforming the fruits of their land into wines and olive oils that are unparalleled in their uniqueness. Today, the winery is led by Andrea Serafica, with the support of the new generation: Giuseppe Borzì and Nino Serafica, who have established the brand to bring their products to market, and Maria Ausilia Borzì, who has introduced educational programs and developed the winery’s tourism and experiential offerings. Committed to environmental sustainability, the Serafica family continues to uphold the traditions of their ancestors while inviting visitors to experience the authentic spirit of Sicilian agriculture through their wines and hospitality.
Serafica's vineyards, spread across 15 hectares on the southern slope of Mount Etna, benefit from a unique terroir that combines salty breezes, mineral-rich sandy soils, and a significant temperature range, thanks to the influence of the sea currents. These conditions, along with good rainfall, create the perfect environment for growing grapes with exceptional organoleptic qualities. The vineyards are situated at altitudes ranging from 700 to 950 meters above sea level, at the very edge of Etna’s viticultural limits. The winery focuses on cultivating native Sicilian grape varieties, including Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, and Catarratto. These grapes give life to the winery’s distinctive Versante Sud, Grotte, and Mirantur wine lines, each reflecting the character and vitality of this extraordinary landscape.
In addition to their exceptional wines, the Serafica family also manages 40 hectares of olive groves, spread across the territories of Nicolosi, Ragalna, and Santa Maria Di Licodia, at altitudes from 300 to 1000 meters above sea level. Here, the Nocellara Etnea cultivar, the queen of the region, produces an extra virgin olive oil with a complex and rich flavor profile, celebrated in the estate's four distinct olive oil labels. Together, the wines and olive oils of Serafica offer a true taste of the rich, diverse terroir of Sicily.
