Tenuta Muscazega
About the Winery
Nestled in the Gallura region of Sardinia, the historic estate of Muscazega covers around 100 acres, surrounded by streams and featuring Roman-era ruins like Ponte Nughes. With a passion for Sardinia, owner Laura Carmina transformed the estate into a renowned winery. This landscape, rich in natural beauty, is home to ancient olive trees and native flora, where Nebbiolo and Vermentino grapes thrive. Muscazega embodies the unique spirit of Sardinia, producing wines that reflect the region’s heritage and stunning environment.
About the Wines
Muscazega specializes in single-varietal wines, including Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG and Nebbiolo IGT. The Nebbiolo grapes, brought from Piedmont 200 years ago, flourish in Gallura’s granite-rich soil, producing vibrant and expressive wines like NUGHES Vermentino, Muscazega Nebbiolo Rosato, and barrel-aged LUNAS Nebbiolo. The Vermentino is globally celebrated for its purity, while the Nebbiolo offers a unique Sardinian expression of this classic varietal.

One thing to note is that is not a group thing, it's just you and the owner.
- make sure you get the correct address from the host
- don't stop your navigation half way. There are many areas with no mobile data coverage and it might get difficult to search the address again when you have no internet nor signal to make calls.
